The design concept of a deep black dial with white, noctilucent numerals and indices, small seconds and a marker arrow at 12 o'clock ensure a completely authentic cockpit look and also allow excellent readability. The graphic layout of the scale is reduced to a few lines, only hour displays at 2, 4, 8 and 10 o'clock are particularly large by using Arabic numerals. The hour and minute hands, which resemble propeller blades in their shape, are just as large in size. They are, like indexes, designed with Super-LumiNova® mass and thus quickly visible even in the dark.
The black stainless steel case measures 45 mm in diameter. Thanks to its special PVD coating, it is extremely hard and resistant. The watch is worn on a special bracelet - a so-called "Trieste strap". Basis for this forms high-quality calf leather, which is preserved with the help of metal salts and then provided with a embossing in textile appearance. This gives the leather the appearance of a textile fabric, but at the same time has the advantage that the leather - compared to a real textile - looks maintained long time. This guarantees a particularly pleasant wearing comfort and completes the technical character of the watch perfectly.
The large, anti-reflective sapphire base glass allows a view of the finely-finished movement with the C.H Wolf-own waffle pattern. In addition to this exclusive finish, the traditional Glashütte three-quarter plate, like the entire work in anthracite colors, stands out. The rubies and the hand-polished screws are particularly beautiful. The crown wheel and the ratchet wheel make the distinctive look of the work perfect with their noble sunburst.
